Automotive Technician - Master Level

Job Responsibilities

Confer with customers or service advisors to obtain descriptions of vehicle problems, and to discuss work to be performed and future repair requirements.
Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
Perform quality inspections of vehicle repairs prior to returning the vehicle to the customer
Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning, etc
Communicate directly with the service advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
 
Job Requirements

As an Automotive Technician (Automotive Mechanic), you will be experienced and aware of the latest automotive technologies and be a persistent problem solver. We have determined some factors that may enable your success as an Automotive Technician: 

  • Must have at least 5 years of experience as an automotive technician
  • Must hold at least 5 (all 8 preferred) National Institute of Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certifications
  • Must have some level of instructor led automotive training (e.g. high school automotive, vocational, college, technical school, OEM, etc.)
  • Chrysler Certified is strongly preferred, yet open to non-Chrysler Certified candidates
  • Team oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service
  • Must have working knowledge of shop equipment such as wheel and tire equipment, alignment system, diagnostic equipment, AC equipment, etc.)
  • Must have a valid driver's license

Sales and Product Consultant - Immediate Openings!

What You'll Do:

  • Build relationships with customers and create customers for life
  • Demonstrate knowledge about each product, optional packages, and latest technology
  • Offer test drives and obtain proper identification from all prospects prior to the drive
  • Ensure each customer understands the vehicle's operating systems, warranty, and paperwork
  • Utilize dealership management systems and other programs to maintain customer information and sales data
  • Assist in writing complete sales orders and process paperwork
  • Maintain a positive work environment in a fast-paced setting

What You'll Need:

  • Full-time availability
  • 1 year of sales experience (preferred, but not required)
  • 1 year of customer service experience (preferred)
  • Bi-lingual always a plus
  • Valid driver's license with good driving record 
  • Ability to pass pre-employment testing including background check

Automotive Service - Express / Quick Lane Service Advisor

The Express or Quick Lube Service Advisor is responsible for building strong customer relationships in a quick and efficient manner. They greet and consult customers on service needs, perform a thorough vehicle walk around inspection as part of the write-up, sell and up sell services by emphasizing value, keep customers updated on needed services, field live service calls, and take ownership of the customers experience by carrying out those additional assignments that allow the dealership to leave an impressionable experience with the customer.

 Ensure that customers receive prompt, courteous, and effective service

  • Greet customers and assist them with any inquiries they may have
  • Perform vehicle walk around and documentation of customer concerns to enable the Technician to properly service the vehicle.

 Drive the sale of technicians' time to meet departments sales forecast

  • Consult with customer on applicable service specials.
  • Prioritize required services, and be prepared to provide options upon request.

 Establish and maintain a close relationship with the customer

  • Keep customer informed on completion times, service expenses, and possible changes.
  • Remain involved with delivery of vehicle to customer upon completion to assure all customer concerns can be addressed.

 Ensure customer has a positive dealership experience

  • Provide concierge support for all owner inquiries, whether phone or in person, to assure the customer does not get mishandled.
  • Know the product well enough to answer characteristic and operational questions regarding the customer's vehicle.

As an Express Service Advisor, you will be experienced and aware of the latest customer service practices and be a persistent problem solver. We have determined some factors that may enable your success as an 

Express Service Advisor: 

  • One year of experience in a Quick Lube or service advisor environment strongly preferred
  • Must have computer proficiency
  • Able to perform proficiently in a "fast paced" work environment
  • Work well with fellow team members
  • Valid driver's license with good driving record

Job Responsibilities

Perform work specified on maintenance and repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with dealership and/or Mopar standards
Diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning, etc. to specification
Provide labor and time estimates for additional automotive repairs
Explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner to service advisors and customers
Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay abreast with rapidly changing technology.
Inspect and test new vehicles and recording findings so that necessary repairs can be made.
 
Job Requirements
